This project is the relocation of approximately 1,500’ of 36” gas pipeline. The project was located on Benson Ave. overpass of the 60-freeway in Chino, CA. The existing pipeline was installed within the bridge casing and was planned to be installed by a horizontal directional bore (HDD) under the 60-freeway to limit the impact of the freeway. The project included coordinating with Caltrans, different cities and various property/commercial owners as the project progressed through the various stages (i.e., excavation, fabrication, boring under the freeway, installing the pipeline, backfilling, and final paving).

The San Clemente Project
The San Clemente project includes installing a complete new Traffic Signal system at Camino Vera Cruz & Costa, and a Traffic Signal Modification at Camino Vera Cruz & Calle Sarmentoso which includes new poles, and an upgraded cabinet modification. There are also 3 other existing locations that will have new Controller Cabinet modifications as well, installing the latest ITS Controllers, and new equipment with the latest communication technology to improve traffic flow.
These improvements generate a positive benefit for the community by improving drive times and create a safer environment for San Clemente drivers.

This property is a hospital annex for Veterans Affairs that will be used in conjunction with the main La Jolla campus.
The new outpatient clinic will let the VA increase its primary care, mental health and specialty care services to veterans.
